The Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention is pleased to announce we will be hosting a Bullying Prevention workshop on April 14, 2015 at the Edgewood Country Club, Churchill, PA. This training is for Allegheny County based school and community mental health and law enforcement professionals.
Stan Davis, renowned speaker, author, and bullying prevention trainer will be the featured presenter. Audience members will leave the training with a wealth of knowledge, practical ideas and a renewed energy and enthusiasm about the role they play in children’s lives. Mr. Davis, who has more than 20 years experience working in schools, is also a lead researcher of the Youth Voice Project, and he has collected information from more than 13,000 young people in the United States about what works and what doesn’t in bullying prevention.
He has done several trainings for the Center for Health Promotion over the past few years and we are excited to be able to welcome him back.
